Chicago-born visual artist and educator Casey grounds her practice in play and material experimentation. Working through an intuitive, iterative loop, she expands small-scale sketches into larger structures, then zooms in on micro-details within those works to spark new studies. Outside the studio, long walks, quiet observation, live music, and a dedicated hot yoga practice sustain her creative rhythm.
